We are unable to offer a shipping or delivery service, so please ensure to make proper pickup arrangements prior to making a purchase.


CURBSIDE CUSTOMER PICKUP PROCEDURES:

1. Upon arrival, please park on the street as close as you can to the home, and text your order number, full name & vehicle make/colour to 613-862-6057 to enter our pickup queue, and await further instruction. Please note that street parking is sparse, so plan for additional visit time.

2. After customers ahead of you in the queue have been served, our staff will place your purchase in front of the house for you to bring to your vehicle.

3. You may then promptly load your purchase into your vehicle (it is necessary you come prepared with adequate person-power, packing materials & an appropriate vehicle, as our staff may remain completely hands-off at this point).

*As a courtesy, our staff may often loosely pre-package smaller item lots with complimentary packing materials, for the purpose of ferrying the purchase from the house to the customer's vehicle, but it is still the customer's responsibility to properly secure their purchases to their liking prior to leaving the property.

The phone number field displays as optional on our checkout screen, but if you do not enter your phone number, our staff will not be able to call you with a last-hour courtesy reminder, if it appears you are running late on our curbside pickup day (3 Customers on average forget about the curbside pickup every week & lose their purchases, because we are unable to reach them while onsite)

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

-The customer agrees to comply with the event's advertised pickup instructions; rain, snow or shine, please understand that items will be forfeited if they are not picked up during set pick up times and refunds will not be issued for missed pickups.
-It is the customer's responsibility to bring enough assistance to load heavy items into their vehicle; please bring an appropriately sized vehicle for your purchase; if you cannot fit your item(s) into your vehicle during the customer pickup hours, you will have forfeited your purchase.
-When entering the property for pick up, customers are entering at their own risk.
-It is the customer's responsibility to ensure pick up of all items included in their purchase(s).
-The customer is obligated to pick up all items advertised to be included within their purchase(s).
-It is the customer's responsibility to ensure receipt of automated purchase confirmation email. Please email ottawa@sellmystuffcanada.com to resend if it is not received within minutes of purchase


CUSTOMER FEES:

-Handling fee of $3.99 per transaction.
-We are required by law to charge our customers sales tax on all transactions made through our online store.


DISCLAIMERS:

When conducting all business activities. We will do our utmost to represent every item in an honest and straightforward manner, by way of photographs and descriptions. Unless an item/lot’s description implies that it has not been tested or closely inspected, we have taken care to scrutinize each item posted for sale, however due to the high volume of unfamiliar used inventory we publish on a weekly basis, it is possible we may occasionally miss an imperfection/defect/odour or unintentionally mislabel an item's colour/make/composition/completeness/artistry. Please be aware that despite this possibility, all sight-unseen purchases made through our online store are final, and we employ a no-refund / no-return policy* (purchase risk is always factored into our low prices). Sell My Stuff will not be held responsible for any damages to items occurring during transit, or for any damages/injuries caused by purchased items once removed from the property. If a customer arrives to the curbside pickup with insufficient person-power to load their purchase(s), and our staff offers courtesy assistance with loading, Sell My Stuff will not be held responsible for any damage caused to the purchase or customer's vehicle. Please note that our Ottawa locations' Online Store does not accept coupon codes.

*Sole exception to no-refund policy: If a customer purchases a critically defective electronic item that is advertised to be in working condition & notifies us the same night as the customer pickup, a partial/complete refund may be offered at the sole discretion of SMSO management (this must be done the same night as the customer pickup, as we typically split total sales proceeds with our client the morning after). Customer responsible for returning item to SMSO, before refund will be issued.
